Butterworth Arena – The new largest banquet hall in Seberang Perai completing soon in Q3, 2022

Butterworth Arena is being built by the Penang State Government through the Penang Development Corporation at the cost of RM59 million. It will be the largest banquet hall in Seberang Perai. There are three separate halls with a total capacity of 360 tables, with stage and four function rooms, two separate kitchens, 600 car park bays and 400 motorcycle parking slots.

It is expected to be completed in September this year! Located in Ampang Jajar, Butterworth Arena is a five-star banquet hall. The banquet hall will also play an important role in stimulating the economy and tourism activities in Seberang Perai and the surrounding areas through the organization of various programs such as conferences, exhibitions, wedding receptions and more.

The construction of the banquet hall was timely as the Penang Sentral was now operating there. Penang Sentral is the public transportation hub for the northern region and it is capable of bringing more tourists and visitors to the area. So, with the existing public transportation system and access as well as links between the main roads, this project is not only crucial for the area in Bagan, Butterworth but the whole of Seberang Perai.
