3rd Penang International Conference on Hospitality 2023 (PItCH 2023)

The Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Cawangan Pulau Pinang, will be hosting the 3rd Penang International Conference on Hospitality 2023 (PItCH 2023) in collaboration with the Iowa State University, Iowa, United States of America; Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand, Technical and Vocational Education Division, Ministry of Education, Malaysia.

After a thoughtful discussion and due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 3rd PItCH will be conducted in hybrid mode (physical face to face and pre-recorded video presentation) in Pulau Pinang from 13th to 14th September 2023. We encourage students, academicians, researchers, policymakers, industrial professionals, and government and non-government agencies worldwide to join our conference physically since the Malaysian government has reopened the international borders on 1st April 2022.

The tagline for PItCH 2023 is Sustainability, and the central conference theme is “Recovery & Resilience: Strengthening the Hospitality and Tourism Industry through Sustainable Development Goals”, which was inspired by the sustainable development goals developed by the United Nations and the SDG governance structure in Malaysia.
