6th APAGE Clinical Forum on Inflammatory Bowel Disease

We are pleased to announce that the Penang 2025 – 6th APAGE Clinical Forum on Inflammatory Bowel Disease will be held on 16th & 17th May 2025 at the Marriott Hotel, Penang, Malaysia. The theme for this year is ‘Back to the Beginning: Getting it Right from the Start’. The theme is a nod to our inaugural meeting held in Penang in 2014 which was co-organized by our beloved mentor and colleague, the late Professor KL Goh who was a ‘Penang boy’ himself. ‘Getting it Right from the Start’ emphasises the fact that despite the therapeutic advancements in IBD; ensuring the best care for the IBD patient begins with a solid foundation of the basics.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) remains a significant health challenge worldwide. With the increasing incidence and prevalence of IBD in Asia, this Forum promises to deliver the most current knowledge and practical insights to enhance the management of this complex condition. The Clinical Forum has always been distinctive from many other monothematic IBD meetings in that it is focused only on the clinical aspects of IBD which are most relevant for the busy clinician. Highlights include interactive discussions and the opportunity to have one-on-one sessions with IBD experts to discuss individual cases.
