After four years, the Official 16th Edition of Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition, LIMA 2023 will be held again this May.
Among the organizations expected to be involved in this year’s exhibition include BHIC, Deftech, Gading Group, Global Turbine Asia, NADI, Radimax, Sapura, System Consulting Services and Zetro while several international industry players namely Airbus (UK), MBDA (France), Kongsberg (Norway), Naval Forces (France), Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), Australian Defense Forces, Aselsan, Roketsan and Havelsan (Turkey).
LIMA also brings amazing helicopter action only at the maritime segment in Langkawi. The air show is the most anticipated part of the event with the most outstanding air show from air force all over the world, including our own stunts by the Royal Malaysian Air Force. The flying display is performed daily throughout the event, welcoming trades, delegates, and public visitors.
LIMA officially began in 1991 which became the very first maritime and aerospace exhibition event in the country with slightly over 100 exhibiting companies. The goal of LIMA is to make Langkawi a destination for light and experimental aircraft to fly freely, similar to the EAA Air Venture in the United States. LIMA has now expanded into maritime exhibitions and is one of Asia-Pacific’s largest maritime and air exhibitions.
