Overview

On behalf of the Malaysian Society for Care of Trauma (MASCOT), It brings me great honor to announce the 2nd Malaysian Trauma Conference (MTC), to be held on the 2nd-4th October 2024 at ANCASA Hotel & Resort, Port Dickson, Malaysia. The 2nd MTC 2024 will be co-organized by the Emergency & Trauma Department of Hospital Port Dickson and Hospital Sungai Buloh.

The MTC is a Trauma-socio academic platform established with the success of the 1st MTC held back in September 2018. The organizers are now back and even more excited to revisit this inaugural event. The Malaysian Trauma Conference is the sole national platform which incorporates a multi-clinical disciplinary and collaborative approach discussing the latest trends, treatments, clinical methodologies, management approaches, research as well as new and relevant trauma system implementations pertinent to the Malaysian trauma health care system. The MTC boast a “one stop” national trauma conference platform suitable to benefit all categories of trauma care providers, including and not limited to, trauma paramedics, allied health clinical experts, physicians, surgeons, research as well as administrative stakeholders involved in the care and development of Trauma Medicine in Malaysia and the region.

The organizers are excited in bringing together a brilliant cast of renowned international and local experts to cast light, impart critical knowledge and spread enormous wisdom on a multitude of trauma related clinical specialties. We are driven to create a memorable ambience that will benefit all categories of trauma clinical and administrative staff throughout Malaysia and abroad. We believe the carefully incorporated preconference workshops will stand ever attractive in delivering high quality and relevant skill sets to our ever-evolving trauma care practitioners. The respected members of the MTC scientific committee have carved an artistic array of symposiums, plenaries and innovative clinical sessions which will surely leave an everlasting impression to all participants, stakeholders, vendors as well as the organizers themselves. This is an event not to be missed.
