MITM Travel Fair Penang

Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA), one of the top 5 tourism association in Malaysia was established in 1992 in Kuala Lumpur. Since then, MCTA had expanded to other states with the formation of Chapters in Johor, Perak, Sabah, Negeri Sembilan and Penang in 2012 and thrived further to Sarawak, Selangor and Labuan lately.

MCTA received ISO 9001.2008 certification in 2013 for provision of quality management and event services. To enhance the Association’s professional and international image, MCTA has established long term tourism cooperation relationship with many foreign tourism boards/ organizations. MCTA also work very closely with the Ministry of Tourism, Tourism Malaysia in the promotion and development of Malaysian tourism both domestically internationally.

Since the establishment of MCTA Penang Chapter, Penang Chapter has grown into one of the most profitable chapters and with over 80 members, our membership has tripled in the past 3 years.

Over the years, we have built close relationship with the airlines, both local and international tourism organization and are well supported by majority of Penang most prominent inbound & outbound travel agents.

Penang Chapter is run by run a committee of reputable and experience top management from the travel agencies. These are the people who knows the industry well and are also well known within the industry players.
