World Congress on Innovation and Technology (WCIT) 2023

The 27th WCIT will be the first to be held in Kuching City, the burgeoning capital of the State of Sarawak, Malaysia’s Borneo region. The guiding principle for this tech industry Olympics, over the past 13 years, has been WITSA’s mission of “Fulfilling the Promise of the Digital Age”. In line with Sarawak’s digital economy blueprint, this year’s congress theme would be Innovation and Technology Driving Economic Prosperity, Social Inclusivity and Environmental Sustainability.

With the emerging new age of digitalisation that actively shapes and influence the everyday development of science and society, the World Innovation, Technology, and Services Alliance (WITSA), continues to stand out for its ability to bring together science, technology and humanities experts from all over the world, to focus on the rise of the machines and information for societal good. It also provides a global perspective on realising the digital age’s potential.
