Research travel, as a new type of experience combining education and travel, is ushering in unprecedented development opportunities. With modern families increasingly pursuing higher quality education for their children, research travel, with its unique educational value and entertainment aspects, has become an ideal choice to meet the diverse growth needs of both parents and children. This trend indicates the immense potential and development space of the research travel market.
Moreover, the integration of the research travel industry is not limited to the combination of tourism and education sectors. It involves deepening inter-industry collaboration, integrating diverse resources, and forming a richer, more efficient research travel ecosystem. This cross-sector integration model helps promote the sustainable development of the entire research travel industry chain.
Sustainability is the core concept of research travel development. While promoting research travel, we must adhere to the principles of environmental protection and social responsibility, advocating for green and responsible travel practices. This respect for the natural environment and return to the original intention of education aims to contribute to the comprehensive growth of children and the sustainable development of future society.
2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and the 11th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership. The joint construction of the “Belt and Road” program will further highlight high-quality development, strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges through research travel, and enhance mutual understanding and interaction between the two peoples, especially the younger generation. This friendship will continue to carry forward the friendship that has been passed down for thousands of years, promote the relations between the two countries to achieve greater development in the next 50 years, and bring greater benefits to the people of the two countries.
The World Research Travel Conference 2024 is setting up the guest country for the first time, which is China. It is recommended that this conference to be listed as an important event for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia.
The conference will promote Malaysia and China to continue to expand exchanges and cooperation in the fields of tourism, education, culture, youth, marine ecology, etc., and at the same time promote Southeast Asian countries, Malaysia, and China to establish an international research travel guest source sharing system to enhance high-quality development of the global tourism industry.
