Malaysia Hosts 38th Congress of Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO 2023)

The evolution of the medical field has no boundaries. Hosting this scientific congress will benefit ophthalmologists from across the globe to keep up with new techniques and technologies as well as to expand knowledge and skills.

APAO 2023 brings excellent programme for the next 3 days with the aim to raise the advancement in the field of ophthalmology. Themed ‘Reconnect and Collaborate’, we welcome a participation of over 5000 ophthalmologists, surgeons and leading industry experts onboard and more than 500 internationally renowned speakers presenting the latest discoveries and ideas in 16 ophthalmic subspecialties.

The opening ceremony was officiated by YBhg Dato’ Dr Asmayani Khalib – Deputy Director-General (Medical), Ministry of Health Malaysia with the presence of APAO Congress President, Dr. Kenneth Fong and APAO Secretary General, Prof. Clement Tham.

APAO 2023 is taking place in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 23-26 February 2023. Supported by Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau, this congress brought to you by the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology and Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology.
