Minister of Tourism, Art and Culture Officiated the 3rd WITC

YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Haji Shukri , Minister of Tourism, Art and Culture officiated The 3rd World Islamic Tourism Conference and Exhibition (WITC) in Kuala Lumpur today.

The WITC was held in Putra World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur for 3 days from 17th October until 19th October 2022.

The WITC participated by delegates from various Islamic countries. This year’s WITC focused on the theme “Inspiring Balance, Transformations and Solutions” to complement the global efforts to restore the tourism industry and the economy.

Joining the minister to the officiating ceremonies were YBhg. Datuk Hajah Saraya Arbi, Secretary-General of MOTAC; Tan Sri Dr. Mohd. Daud Bakar, Chairman of Shariah Advisory Council of Bank Negara Malaysia and Malaysia Security Commisions; H.E. Botir Zaripov, The Governor (Khokim) of Bukhara region, Uzbekistan; and MOTAC higher management officers.
