Sunway Malls has opened its eleventh retail property, Sunway Square Mall, in the heart of Sunway City Kuala Lumpur.
The four‑storey, 320,000‑sq‑ft mall is direct access to Sunway South Quay Lake, a lakeside park with greenery, a waterfall and a dedicated playground for household pets.
Sunway Square Mall is part of the RM1.8 billion Sunway Square integrated development, which will also house the new Sunway University campus, including the Sunway Business School and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
Located within the 15‑minute city of Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, the development includes twin commercial towers anchored by tenants such as Shell and TikTok, a 1,200‑seat performing arts centre, a 24‑hour library with several million books, and community spaces serving the township’s 60,000 young adults and students.
The performing arts centre and library, slated for completion in 2026, are positioned as cultural anchors that will help define the character of Sunway City Kuala Lumpur alongside its commercial components.
